La cervecería Texel gana cuatro premios en el Dutch Beer Challenge

El jurado del Dutch Beer Challenge ha otorgado medallas a nada menos que cuatro cervezas de la cervecería Texel.

The jury of the Dutch Beer Challenge has awarded medals to no fewer than four beers from the Texel Brewery. Just like last year, Texels Skuumkoppe was named the best amber beer in the Netherlands and awarded gold. The Dutch Beer Challenge is considered the most important beer competition in the Netherlands. Texels Tuunwal Tripel also won an award, taking gold in the Tripel category. Additionally, Texels Stormbock won silver in the Barley Wine category, and Texels Zeebries took bronze in the Blond category.

In addition to the medals, the Texelse Bierbrouwerij took to the stage twice more for special awards. The brewery was honored because Skuumkoppe won gold for the third time at the Dutch Beer Challenge and because the Texelse Bierbrouwerij secured its tenth gold medal with this edition since the start of the competition. “The fact that we have once again won four awards at the Dutch Beer Challenge is wonderful recognition of the craftsmanship and attention we put into our beers every day,” states Tom van der Veen, brewmaster of the Texelse Bierbrouwerij. “From Skuumkoppe to Zeebries: every beer tells its own story, rooted on Texel. These medals confirm that our focus on quality is appreciated, both by an independent jury and by the beer lovers who enjoy our beers in the pub or at home.”

The medal-winning beers from the Texel Brewery:

  • Gold medal: Texels Skuumkoppe. A dark wheat beer with a full flavor, hints of caramel and apricot, and a creamy, slightly sweet finish.
  • Gold medal: Tuunwal Tripel. Brewed in the tradition of abbey beers and recognizable by a subtle sweetness and distinctive hop bitterness.
  • Silver medal: Texels Stormbock. An intense and powerful barley wine with a rich aroma, a slightly sweet aftertaste, and a gently bitter finish.
  • Bronze medal: Texels Zeebries. A light blond beer, airy and rich in flavor, like a Texel sea breeze in your glass.
