Douro arrives at the Mosteiro restaurant for a wine dinner with Quinta de La Rosa

Douro arrives at the Mosteiro restaurant for a wine dinner with Quinta de La Rosa

On September 23rd, Restaurante Mosteiro will host Quinta de La Rosa, from the Douro region, for an evening dedicated to pairing haute cuisine and wine, with a tasting menu and guided tasting, in the historic heart of Vila do Conde.

The Wine Dinner takes place on September 23rd at the Mosteiro Restaurant and offers a journey of flavors designed together with a selection of wines from Quinta de La Rosa, from the welcome reception to dessert.

O menu e o pairing

The evening begins with a selection of canapés and continues with a menu consisting of Octopus Carpaccio with roasted peppers, red onion, and smoked paprika vinaigrette as an appetizer; Sea Bass Parfait with shrimp rice as a fish course; Beef Wellington as a meat course; and Imperial Lemon Tart to finish the meal, created by Chef Júlia Oliveira, head chef of Restaurante Mosteiro. The pairing complements each moment: the Welcome Drink is served with La Rosa Rosé, the appetizer with La Rosa Cerejinha, the fish with La Rosa Gouveio, the meat with La Rosa Leve, and dessert concludes the evening with La Rosa 20-Year-Old Tawny. A harmonization that transforms each dish into a new discovery.

The Wine Dinner starts at 7:30 PM and costs R$ 75 per person, including wine pairing.

With this initiative, The Lince Santa Clara combines gastronomic experiences with signature cuisine and excellent wine, inviting hotel guests to discover, in a single evening, the identity of one of the great wine houses of the Douro at the table of the Mosteiro Restaurant. In addition to Mosteiro, The Lince Santa Clara also features Oculto, a restaurant distinguished with a Michelin Star, under the gastronomic direction of chef Vítor Matos and chef Hugo Rocha, reinforcing the hotel as a benchmark destination for those seeking signature gastronomic experiences in Vila do Conde.
