Atxa's restaurant is located on the ground floor of the Radisson RED Madrid design hotel, reflecting its artistic ethos and fostering collaborations with artists, musicians, and mixologists. Recently, the hotel collaborated once again with ARCOmadrid, showcasing one of the works of Spanish artist Daniel Canogar. The hotel also had an exclusive space at the art fair, inspired by the upcoming opening of its rooftop terrace, scheduled for the end of March.
The immersive installation featured a series of vibrant cocktails inspired by different Madrid neighborhoods, which attendees could pair with ad hoc musical performances to enhance the sensory experience.
Within the Radisson universe, Eneko Basque Madrid completes its creative circle with a gastronomic offering of contemporary, informal haute cuisine centered around the art of grilling. Even its desserts are finished on the embers: one of the defining characteristics of its culinary identity, which fuses Mediterranean and Basque cultures, blending influences such as the sea, the mountains, the climate, and folklore.
He combines all these influences in both his à la carte dishes and tasting menus, featuring signature dishes such as his tomato talo with dressed tomatoes and tomato and basil emulsion; his foie gras and lemongrass curd; his marinated scallop with seafood granita; or his smoked Iberian pork with mashed potatoes. Not to mention his great sweet hit: the French toast finished on the embers, in which the Basque chef also showcases his talent.
