VI Madrid Food Competition at Madrid Fusion Food of Spain 2026

This competition, open to participants from all over Spain, will be governed by the following rules:

BASES

Participants will submit a single recipe made with the following mandatory main ingredient: "Bocado de la Reina" (Queen's Bite) from the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) "Carne de la Sierra de Guadarrama" (Meat from the Sierra de Guadarrama). In addition, the recipe must also include two ingredients protected by the "M Producto Certificado" (M Certified Product) guarantee mark—a distinctive mark that characterizes the differentiated quality of agri-food products produced and/or processed in the Community of Madrid—indicating the type of product, and it must be paired with a wine from the Vinos de Madrid Protected Designation of Origin (PDO).

• The recipe must include a technical sheet indicating the ingredients used and the preparation process; and it will be accompanied by a high-resolution photograph, minimum 300dpi, in .jpg format.

• The deadline for receiving prescriptions will be 23:59 on January 4, 2026.
• From all the recipes received, the 6 recipes that will go on to the final will be selected.
• The final will take place on Monday, January 26, 2026 at 11:00 AM, on the Madrid Fusión Experience 2026 stage (hall 14.0).
• Each finalist must provide all the ingredients needed to prepare the recipes.
• The finalists will be summoned to prepare, or if necessary, finish and plate their dishes before the jury, within one hour of preparation time.
• The finalists will not be allowed to bring an assistant to help them finish the dish.
• The jury will announce a single winner of the competition who will receive an institutional gift as a prize along with the appointment.
• Travel and accommodation expenses for contestants who advance to the final are their own responsibility.
• Voluntary participation in this contest implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions. Recognition as a valid participant is subject to compliance with the requirements established in these terms and conditions. Alimentos de Madrid reserves the right to include the recipes of the 6 finalists and their images in its corporate communications, along with the image and information of their authors (catalogs, brochures, website, social media, app, etc.), as well as to reproduce said recipes in photo shoots or other events whenever it deems appropriate. Furthermore, Alimentos de Madrid reserves the right to suspend, postpone, cancel, or modify the duration of the contest at any time prior to its conclusion, provided there are justifiable reasons, such as a change of dates by the Madrid Fusión organizers if the health situation so requires.
