Restaurants offering home delivery in Bologna: the best delivery options during the coronavirus pandemic
Following the more restrictive measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus, which mandated that bars and restaurants throughout Emilia-Romagna, as well as Rome, Milan, and other Italian cities, must close at 6:00 PM, restaurants in Bologna have expanded or introduced free delivery services.
Pizzerias
The undisputed queen of delivery remains pizza. Mozzabella, available on the delivery platforms Just Eat, My Menu, UberEats, and Deliveroo, offers a 30% discount on selected pizzas on a rotating basis on the latter platform. Pizzeria Bianco Farina, with its two locations open daily in accordance with regional regulations, offers home delivery service at 346 6112769. Even Corten, with its gourmet pizzas, hasn't been deterred; orders can be delivered directly to your door by calling 051 4852898 or on Just Eat.
On Tuesday, April 7, Berberè on Via Petroni resumed pizza and bread delivery every day from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM (Delivery is €1 with Deliveroo until April 12). The service has also been reactivated at the four locations in Milan, the two in Turin, Florence Santa Croce, and Rome. Since yeast is currently hard to find, delivery will include a free gift, while supplies last, of the live sourdough used by Berberè, perfect for making bread and pizza at home. Restaurants
For regulars, Ragū will keep you company with its Bolognese-style dishes. Simply WhatsApp or call 347 9982336 for delivery. Chef Irina Steccanella at her Irina Trattoria in Savigno has decided to respond to the emergency with the #irinacasatua initiative, which allows you to have a specially created menu delivered to your door to enjoy safely at home without sacrificing the quality and care of dining out. Daily menu items will change depending on availability. On Saturday and Sunday, only home delivery will be available from 10:30 am to 3 pm at 345 1608382. Cucineria Delivery, now a trusted lunch spot in the city, offers free home delivery and has decided to make a small but important contribution to the "stronger TOGETHER" project of the Fondazione Policlinico Sant'Orsola by donating €1 for every order placed on the website. On Wednesday, April 15th, Pasta Fresca Da Me, the fresh pasta shop of Trattoria da me at Via San Felice 52/a, will reopen. You can purchase fresh pasta and soon, specialties from the trattoria's kitchen will also be available! Home delivery is available in the Bologna area. Burger lovers will also be satisfied, thanks to the delivery services of the Sardinian burger joint Bombas on My Menu and Just Eat, and the newly launched Nasty Burger Club, available daily from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM (delivery only), except Tuesdays, on the same platforms. Nasty also offers a takeout service, allowing only one person at a time to pick up their order. For added security, all transactions will be cashless.
Ristorante Acqua Pazza has also begun offering its delivery service with a minimum order of €50. Lunch orders can be placed by 11:00 a.m., and dinner orders by 6:00 p.m. Deliveries are made from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., respectively.
