A Procrastinators Guide to Ordering Easter Dinner Takeout in the Twin Cities
Because nothing seems normal and time has become an elastic hole of isolation, it’s entirely possible that Easter has snuck up on a larger than usual number of Christians this year.
These are the restaurants in Minneapolis and St. Paul that are still taking orders for Easter Sunday, that, again, is this Sunday April 12.
Minneapolis
The Kenwood near Lake of the Isles is serving braised lamb shank, polenta, asparagus, spring vegetable panzanella, and a stout bread pudding. It’s $45 per person and available for pick up Sunday morning.
The Lynhall is serving all kinds of feast options from ham to lamb to roast beef to Welsh cauliflower curry, add sides and pie for as many or few people as you like. Orders must be in by 5 p.m. Friday for Sunday pick up.
P.S. Steak is serving dinner for four including a double smoked ham glazed in sorghum and bourbon, asparagus with sauce gribiche, Cumin and orange glazed baby carrots, Aligot potatoes, Parker house rolls, and cookies and bars for four people at $120. Call asap for Sunday morning pick up.
Saint Paul
The Buttered Tin in Lowertown is serving up brunch with egg bake, pastries, and fresh fruit. The meal serves one to two people for $40 or four to six for $75. Orders have to be in today by 1 p.m. Pickups are available on Saturday or Sunday morning.
Cossetta’s the St. Paul icon has meal kits serve eight people for $120. The kit includes ham, green beans, tiramisu, and more. Order by Friday for pickup on Saturday.
Hope Breakfast Bar still has some dinners available for order. Meals serve either four or six and include beer can chicken, honey maple pork butt, garlic mashed potatoes, honey butter biscuits, and bread pudding for $79 or $99 to be picked up Sunday morning.
The Lexington Grand Avenue’s old school glamor restaurant is serving glazed ham dinner with green bean almondine and more that serves four people for $100. You can still get all the good feels from curbside pickup. Pick up Saturday or Sunday.
Handsome Hog in Lowertown is taking dinner orders through 3 p.m. tomorrow for Sunday pick up. Bring home a taste of Justin Sutherland’s Southern style with beef brisket, buttermilk fried chicken, mac and cheese, cornbread, slaw, and bourbon pecan pie. Orders are $45 per person.
Saint Dinette in Lowertown is making meals to serve four people that includes two pounds of maple-glazed spiral cut ham, scallop taters, asparagus, glazed carrots, rolls and a Jello salad better than grandma made all for $125. Today is the deadline for ordering. Pick up on Sunday.
