Recipe: Barilla Love, the heart-shaped pasta to elevate your recipes

Barilla Love was designed to achieve the perfect balance between a consistent texture and the ideal elasticity so your favorite sauce adheres perfectly. We've included a perfect recipe for you to try Barilla Love and see for yourself.

INGREDIENTS

  • 400g of Barilla® Love Pasta.
  • 4 skinless salmon fillets (250 g/unit).
  • 4 tbsp. of olive oil.
  • 4 tsp. of onion powder.
  • 4 tsp. of garlic powder.
  • Salt, to taste.
  • Pepper with lemon, to taste.
  • 3 tbsp. of extra virgin olive oil.
  • 4 yellow lemons, juice and zest.
  • ½ cup of capers, drained.
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped.

PREPARATION

  • Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Brush the salmon fillets on both sides with olive oil. Season with onion and garlic powder, salt, and lemon pepper.
  • Cook in a skillet over medium heat. Turn halfway through cooking until the salmon is cooked through. Remove and flake the fillets with two forks.
  • In a bowl, combine the pasta with the flaked salmon. Add the extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice and zest, capers, and basil leaves. Mix well and serve.
