All You Need Is An Air Fryer To Make A Delicious S'mores Dip

All You Need Is An Air Fryer To Make A Delicious S'mores Dip

Air fryers have taken the culinary world by storm. The possibilities for what you can make in these mini convection-style ovens are seemingly endless — from perfectly crispy reheated donuts to ooey, gooey s'mores dip!

Honestly, the only downside to this recipe is the chance of drooling on your countertops from the absolutely delicious smell flooding your kitchen. Make sure you place your air fryer in a safe location before getting started. You'll only need two ingredients for the dip itself — marshmallows and some chocolate. We are not the portion police, and there are no wrong answers for the size of your marshmallows or the amount of chocolate you want to add.

First, line the basket of your air fryer with parchment paper or aluminum foil before adding your layer of marshmallows. Next, take the chocolate of your choosing and sprinkle it over the marshmallow layer. If you're using a chocolate bar, break it into smaller pieces. Set your air fryer to between 350 and 400 degrees Fahrenheit. The higher the heat, the more color you'll see on the marshmallows. It only takes five minutes! You can make this in about the time it takes for a commercial break.

S'more ways to enjoy your dessert dip

This recipe has everything you could love about s'mores without the risk of smoke inhalation or property damage. What do you use to eat it, though? The answer is — whatever you want! Traditionalists can use classic graham crackers, but pretzels make a fantastic substitute for a sweet-and-salty combination that's heaven-sent. Cookies, stroopwafels, madeleines, apple slices, and animal crackers are all excellent options for scooping up the warm gobs of melted confection. We already know that air fryers make the best frozen waffles, so why not use one of those? Breakfast of champions.

The options are truly limitless with this. You can even color-code your s'mores dip for a special occasion or holiday by throwing in some sprinkles or using colored marshmallows. Depending on your feelings for Peeps, you can melt those chicks down for a bright and glittery s'mores dip, complete with white chocolate to really sell the pastels. You can even swing for the dessert fences by adding crumbled, pre-cooked bacon to balance the sweetness with something decadent. Don't be boxed in with just regular chocolate either — try a salted caramel or chili-infused dark chocolate for even more flavor.
