Yeast-free flatbread from a pan

This pan bread is very quick and easy to make. Even without yeast, the dough is very fluffy. Enjoy this delicious flatbread, warm and fresh straight from the pan!

Ingredients · Servings For 4 pieces
  • 300 g plain spelt flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • granulated sugar
  • 160ml milk
  • 50 ml butter
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Method · 23 min
  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add the milk, butter and 1 tablespoon of oil and knead into a smooth dough.
  2. Divide the dough into 4 parts and roll each part out on a lightly floured work surface into round cakes about 20 cm in diameter.
  3. Heat a frying pan with a little oil, place the pancake in it and fry on both sides over medium heat for about 2 minutes. Repeat with the remaining pancakes.
