Maxi cookie from the pan

Maxi cookie from the pan

Are your kids and their friends always hungry? Save time and bake one giant cookie instead of many pieces!

Ingredients · Servings For a pan with a diameter of 23–25 cm
  • 250 g plain wheat flour
  • 2 tsp starch
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 175g butter
  • 200 g caster sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 200 g chocolate chips
  • 100 g peanuts
Method · 50 min
  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch and baking powder. In another bowl, cream the butter with the sugar, add the egg and vanilla extract. Sift the flour mixture into the creamed butter and combine.
  2. Stir in chocolate chips or chopped chocolate and salted roasted peanuts. Transfer the batter to a heavy ovenproof pan (you can also use a small baking dish) and spread evenly. Place in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  3. After removing, let it cool for a while. Place a few scoops of ice cream in the center of the pan and eat with a spoon while still warm. The biscuit is also delicious the next day when it hardens a little.
