Shrimp sandwich with caviar

Shrimp sandwich with caviar

Shrimp sandwiches decorated with salmon caviar will be a hit at any party. They are classy, delicious and very impressive. To add a touch of zing and extra flavor, use garlic sprouts to decorate them.

Ingredients · Servings For 2–4 people
  • 300 g shrimp
  • 3 pcs shallots
  • dill
  • 1 piece lemon
  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • Dijon mustard
  • 50 g caviar
Method · 15 min
  1. In a bowl, combine the shrimp, shallots, dill, lemon zest and juice, sour cream, mayonnaise, and Dijon mustard. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  2. Serve on bread triangles. Garnish with dill caviar, or thin lemon wedges or slices, and micro herbs or sprouts. SOMETHING EXTRA You can enhance the bread rolls by adding a lettuce leaf under the shrimp (this will keep the bread from getting soggy). You can also add sliced eggs. Or just spread the bread with butter and lightly salt it with Himalayan or smoked salt. You can also season the shrimp mayonnaise and sour cream or crème fraîche mixture with Tabasco, horseradish or brandy.
