Clos Cor Ví relaunches its project with four wines focused on Moixent and Requena

The Valencian winery is reorganizing its brands and production processes with the advice of winemaker Javier Revert.

Wednesday, September 9, 2026

The Valencian winery Clos Cor Ví has embarked on a new chapter with four new wines and the addition of winemaker Javier Revert as a consultant. The company, led by Luis Corbí, is reorganizing both its brands and production methods with the aim of giving a more defined expression to its vineyards in Moixent and Requena, two areas that now form the core of its offerings.

The winery attributes this change to over 20 years of work. Clos Cor Ví was founded in 2004 with a focus on organic white wines and a five-hectare vineyard in the Alforins Valley, near Moixent. Later, it expanded its operations to the Hoces del Cabriel Natural Park, where it cultivates Bobal grapes. On this estate, it owns 77 hectares, 22 of which are planted with this variety, with vines between 40 and 50 years old.

Luis Corbí maintains that the reformulation does not represent a break with the previous trajectory. “This evolution is not a break, but a conscious renewal. Each of the new brands is born to express a distinct character of the territory, reflecting its soils, microclimates, and varieties with greater purity,” states the owner. Corbí adds that the winery seeks to “highlight” the value of the land and the vineyards and considers it important to have Javier Revert's experience at this stage.

Revert's arrival coincides with a rethinking of the range. Clos Cor Ví maintains its focus on the Los Isidros area in Requena, within the Hoces del Cabriel Natural Park, while also preserving its connection to Moixent. The result is two white wines registered under the Valencia DO and two red wines under the Utiel-Requena DO.

Among the white wines, El Ramblar 2025 is made with Verdil, Viognier, and Riesling grapes from vineyards in Moixent. The winery reports that this wine has been aged for nine months in stainless steel and third-use barrels. La Loma de las Carrascas 2025, on the other hand, is 100% Verdil, a native Valencian variety. It comes from the highest-altitude plot and has also been aged for nine months, in this case in clay amphorae and 500-liter barrels. 2,000 bottles of this wine were produced.

In its range of red wines, the winery focuses on Bobal, a variety native to the Utiel-Requena region. Pago de los Álamos 2025 is a blend of Bobal and Garnacha with a small percentage of Macabeo, a white grape. The winery specifies that the grapes come from the La Madroñera estate, located within the Hoces del Río Cabriel gorge, and that the aging process took place in various vessels, including wooden vats and clay amphorae.

The second red wine in this phase is La Viña de los Rosales 2025, a 100% Bobal made from selected plots of that variety. The winery presents it as an interpretation focused on the grape's fruity profile. It has aged for nine months in French oak barrels and its production is limited to 1,500 bottles.

The pricing policy places El Ramblar 2025 and Pago de los Álamos 2025 at €19.85 per bottle. La Loma de las Carrascas 2025 is being released at a price of €31.50. The winery is integrating this renewal into its wine tourism offerings and has scheduled its End of Harvest Festival for October 3rd, where it will publicly present the new wines.

The event will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the winery and will feature live music, a meat cooking demonstration, locally sourced products, and a rice tasting. Clos Cor Ví adds that transportation will be available for attendees from Valencia and Requena. The price of the event is €100.
