New Era Whiskey Distillery and Social Club Opens in Downtown Lexington, Kentucky
New Era has announced the opening of downtown Lexington, Kentucky’s first combination distillery, gift shop, tasting room, and social club.
Visitors to New Era Distillery will find a tasting room and gift shop sampling its bourbons and selling branded merchandise, along with its library of both past bottlings and new arrivals. All releases are cask strength, single barrel expressions with fun names that mimic newspaper headlines, reminiscent of the days when newspapers were the only way to get the word out.
After a peek into New Era’s bottling area, members of the New Era Social Club will be able to enjoy a private tasting experience, complete with comfortable seating, kitchen, games, and big-screen TVs. Social Club members also receive one bottle per month delivered to their door, invitations to special events, and other members-only perks.
