This year’s KRAFT Beer Festival will take place at Dürer Kert from September 10 to 13. During the four-day event, visitors can look forward to around 30 domestic and regional breweries, several specialty beer shops, and around 300 different beers.
Every day of the festival, attendees can enjoy concerts, DJ and selector sets, and a variety of street food options, the organizers told MTI on Saturday. As the organizers noted,
the KRAFT Beer Festival was first organized ten years ago, in 2016, in Kőbánya; since then, the event has grown to become the most important gathering on the domestic craft beer scene alongside BPBW Budapest Beer Week,
all while operating independently on a market-based model without government subsidies, major investors, or large breweries. Based on the announcement, visitors will be able to sample beers from Hungarian breweries such as Abaliget Garden Projects, Balkezes, Czider, Etyeki, Fehér Nyúl, and Mad Scientist, as well as from the Polish brewery Browar Cztery Sciany, the Finnish Nailo Brewing Co., the Romanian Noah, and the Croatian Nova Runda. Admission and all outdoor music programs are free at the KRAFT Beer Festival, where ciders, cocktails, non-alcoholic craft beverages, 5 different food trucks, and 18 musical acts will be available to visitors.
