The batter itself was flanked with the richness of cocoa, even on its own, without the presence of the chocolate chips. When paired with the mochi, every bite was decadent yet moreish. No jaw workouts were needed here, as the mochi was soft and stretchy.

The Brownie Mochi Waffle is a seasonal item that’s only available on Friday and Saturday. You can as well get Pandan Mochi Waffle ($8) on other days, for a limited time only! We highly recommend the tea-based flavours such as Tie Guan Yin and Pu Er , as they stood out with a mellowed fragrance.

Their brewed tea, priced at $7.50 , is also worth a try. Steeped in a bottom-dispensing teapot, each order is refillable for a single time. Fun fact: the cafe owners as well sell tea blends, so it’s no wonder the tea-based items ranked higher amongst our group.
