Just Eat Awards: How to vote for your favorite food delivery services
Last-minute dinner with friends? Delivery solves the problem. Lunch at the office? Ditto. Empty fridge and no desire to go out? Try online shopping. And the list goes on.
Yes, delivery is an increasingly valuable service, and it's made possible by passionate artisans and entrepreneurs who do everything to deliver what we want, wherever we want. Now it's time to recognize our favorites by voting in the Just Eat Awards.
What are the Just Eat Awards?
The Just Eat Awards are the recognitions with which Just East recognizes the best restaurants, sandwich shops, ice cream parlors, pizzerias, supermarkets (and the list could go on and on) that, through the platform, offer us their specialties and bring them wherever we prefer.
Now in its fifth edition, over the years they've explored how our way of eating has changed, following trends or launching new ones: from poké to sushi, from fish sandwiches to street food, including vegan food. All this while also addressing changing needs over time: above all, having someone to do the shopping for us.
Which food delivery companies are competing?
This year, there are 24 categories competing, including five new ones: Best Street Food, Best International or Fusion Restaurant, Best Breakfast & Brunch, Best Home Delivery, and the Most Inclusive category, dedicated to all those establishments that have chosen to celebrate diversity by offering work and life opportunities to people with disabilities or those experiencing difficulties. There are also awards for the best in each geographical area and several special recognitions—such as Best Female-Led Restaurant, Most Innovative, and Most Sustainable—all the way up to the most coveted: Best Restaurant of the Year.
Awards for the winners of the Just Eat Awards
We'll have to wait until next February to find out who won the Just Eat Awards. The winners will be the stars of a big celebration, but they'll also receive awards throughout the year. Just Eat will make their signs highly visible, so we can find them right away and try their specialties (if we haven't already). Furthermore, the award-winning establishments will also be recognizable thanks to window stickers donated by Just Eat, so that anyone who passes by will know they have something particularly delicious to offer.
