Singapore’s TOFU G launches Korean Gelato Toppings Bar where you can stack for just $2 extra

Singapore’s TOFU G launches Korean Gelato Toppings Bar where you can stack for just $2 extra

Singapore’s first tofu-based gelato brand, TOFU G, has just introduced a new build-your-own gelato concept at its two newest outlets.

Why is TOFU G’s flat-rate toppings bar worth it?

The toppings bar swaps out standard dessert staples for a Korean snack aisle aesthetic. Diners can crown their gelato with treats like injeolmi, joripong, and yakgwa, or opt for a savory crunch with soy-based tempeh chips that playfully echo the gelato underneath. Meanwhile, there’s dried cranberries, marshmallow sprinkles, and plenty of nuts to add.

These pair with TOFU G’s signature five core flavours, including Vegan Tofu, Rich Chocolate, and High-Protein Tofu, alongside outlet-exclusive scoops like Pomegranate at Suntec City and Chodang Sweet Corn at Punggol’s Waterway Point.

Designed to feel like a calm Korean room nestled within a busy mall, both Suntec City and Waterway Point branches feature timber aesthetics, cushioned seating, and warm lighting, and operate daily from 11am to 10pm.

Excitingly, this DIY concept is similar to the Yo-Chi craze sweeping Singapore. However, Yo-Chi operates a strict pay-by-weight model where heavy additions can easily escalate a single cup’s price to $15 or more. Meanwhile, TOFU G caps the same experience at a flat $10 regardless of how high you stack your ice cream.
