Explore the East End in Wine N' Dine progressive lunch with four venues and four wine pairings
Finding the time to try four different restaurants can take weeks of planning.
The self-guided progressive long lunch is available for one day only, inviting guests to sip and stroll through the precinct, stopping at local restaurants for a signature dish paired with a South Australian wine at each venue.
Guests are split into four groups, with each group starting at a different venue before rotating through all four stops. While every ticket includes the same four restaurants, the order and dishes vary keeping diners the on their toes.
From European-inspired bistros to Southeast Asian flavours, every stop brings a different menu, atmosphere and pairing to the table. It is an easy way to discover several of the East End’s dining spots without making four separate bookings.
Here’s what’s on the menu…
Paper Tiger Featuring Whistler Wines Where: 285 Rundle St, Adelaide SA 5000.
Paper Tiger brings aromatic, bold flavours with colourful share plates and punchy cocktails to the East End. Their menu fuses the cuisines of Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Singapore. Depending on your group’s rotation, you may be treated to dishes such as crispy king oyster mushrooms, prawn toast or a rich yet light peanut butter chocolate flourless cake. Owner Karl says Whistler Wines’ Rosé is the perfect match for their bold, often spicy flavours, with playful fruity notes that help balance each dish.
OZIN Restaurant Featuring Mt Bera Vineyards Where: 6 East Terrace, Adelaide SA 5000.
OZIN Restaurant oozes heritage charm with modern accents, set within a beautifully restored heritage building on East Terrace. Aromas of charcoal-fired cooking, warming spices and slow-roasted meats waft through the air from the open kitchen, setting the tone for a menu centred around bold and rich flavours. Owner Neeraj says Mt Bera’s wine being fresh and elegant, will provide the perfect contrast to OZIN’s rich, smoky menu.
Monica Bistro Featuring Vinteloper Wine Where: 14 East Terrace, Adelaide SA 5000.
Once you step inside Monica Bistro you’re instantly transported to a moody, Hong Kong-inspired dining room that feels worlds away from the bustle outside. With warm lighting and intimate seating, the East End venue creates a mood that feels both exciting and familiar. Paired with Vinteloper’s expressive wines, each course will strike a balance between richness and freshness, with the wine’s bright acidity complementing Monica Bistro’s spice-led menu.
Mother Vine Wine Bar Featuring In Praise of Shadows Wine Where: 22/26 Vardon Ave, Adelaide SA 5000.
Known for its exposed-brick and cozy ambiance, Mother Vine has become a cornerstone of the East End’s food and wine scene. Mother Vine is showcasing In Praise of Shadows wine, a McLaren Vale winery that favours freshness and finesse, paring nicely with Mother Vine’s hearty dishes.
