Sydney Brewery hosts the premier of Colin from Accounts’ final season
Sydney Brewery’s Rozelle taproom has hosted the rollout event this week for the third and final season of Colin from Accounts. In the Australian romantic dramedy series, Patrick Brammall plays the main character Gordon, who owns and operates a fictional artisan microbrewery named Echo Park in Sydney’s Inner West.
“It might be last drinks for Colin from Accounts, but Sydney Rozelle Brewery will always be open for Patrick, Ash and all the cast and crew of the show.”
Brammall, his co-star Harriet Dyer who plays main character Ashley, and the rest of the cast and crew of the show visited Sydney Brewery Rozelle, for the ‘yellow carpet’ launch. The brewery was transformed into the show’s Echo Park setting, and until 2 August, guests of Sydney Brewery Rozelle have the chance to put themselves into the set of Colin from Accounts. To celebrate the launch of the final season, Sydney Brewery has partnered with BINGE to brew Ashy’s Hazy Ale, a limited-edition hazy pale ale inspired by one of the show’s main characters.
Guests can walk the yellow carpet, take a photo on the show’s signature park bench and enjoy the atmosphere from the premiere. Going to Jenna Farrell, General Manager of Sydney Brewery,, with the show’s fictional setting, the collaboration with Sydney Brewery Rozelle was a perfect fit. “While it is hard to know just how successful Gordon’s micro-brewery goes in the show, Sydney Brewery Rozelle has been buzzing ever since the launch event, and we’ve had hundreds of guests coming in to be part of the show and of course enjoy Ashy’s hazy pale ale.”
She added: “And just like the show, dogs are as welcome as their owners. It is an incredibly relaxed venue with a vast range of beers, ciders, and spirits, as well as on-site dining, pool tables, and plenty of entertainment. “It might be last drinks for Colin from Accounts, but Sydney Rozelle Brewery will always be open for Patrick, Ash and all the cast and crew of the show.”
